Whisker Pole Stowage

Whichever method you choose, DO YOUR CREW A FAVOR and put a bracket on both the port and starboard sides — that way, there’s a place to stow it no matter which side he/she brings it down on.

Method 1

whisker_pole_1 Install an aluminum broom clip on the side of the cockpit, either above or below the side pockets.

Method 2

whisker_pole_3 Install a stainless J bracket on the side of the cockpit . Most crews find it easier to quickly stow the pole when the clip is in the forward position shown in the photo.
